Hi everyone. I haven’t posted in years, but I’m trying to remember to start doing so. Just to get back into it, here are a few photos from a few nights ago at my spot outside of Socorro, NM. I hiked up on a pair of eastern black-tailed rattlesnakes (Crotalus ornatus) hanging out at the base of a rocky hillside. One of them bolted into the rocks immediately, but this one stayed put and was completely chill. The photos could be better quality, but I’m pretty happy with how cooperative this snake was.
Enjoy!
