A few Rosy Boas from 2010

Post by Fundad »

Here is some, not all, of the 2010 year. Not as good a year as many of you, but I hope you enjoy anyway.

Many of these were found with my friend Ballinherp. Thanks for the great team effort and times in the field this year Tony. Way too many laughs and good times.
Also thanks to Hellihooks, Todd, Tony Lanzi, Pecora, Jon, Jonathan, Hubbs, Rock Rat and Sons, and my bother Chris for the times boa hunting in the field this year. If I missed someone I apologize.

Nice Brian! All very nice boas, but what kinda really came through (for me at least) is how unique Uni's truly are.... hopefully I'll have the chance to try to flip one next year. jim

Very nice. I loved the in situ shots. Nothings like the feeling of flipping a rock and seeing a snake coiled up! :thumb:

Also that Mexican Rosy is stunning!

Wow, you guys tore it up this year. I've never seen one like that red Riverside Co. boa. Your photography has improved a lot too. Good job. :thumb:

Thanks for the kind words.. :D

Taylor-Thanks, I spent many many hours away from home...

hellihooks- Thank you sir, The day we found that z and 2 boas cruising rocked.. :thumb:

KCMatt-Thank you, one of the above is from the road I took you and Chad on.

monklet- Thank You, Don't worry next year you'll see 10. :thumb:

Nigel Smith-Thank You, I really try to get in Situ shots, not always easy. It's one reason I get up at 4 am to look under rocks, eventhough its harder to find em in the morning, some of the time. The reward of the hard work is a cold snake that
lets you take 100 pictures without a struggle if you want.

Chad Lane-Thank you...

ratsnakehaven- You live so close to there too.. Its 8 hour drive for me   :D

Natalie McNear-Thank you Natalie, :) "Variety is the spice of Life" :D

JP- Thanks you sir..-When you going to come back down this way??

Ross-Thanks Ross, I am still having a ton of photo issues, but working on them. Basicly, my camera basicly is useless in the dark, and its pissing me off..

Cool-- the orange on on the rock at sunset by chance?

I still have dreams about that place and outing. Classic.

Wow!

That is quite a diversity of Boas for one year!

Nice job.

I guess I would be better at finding boas if my Dad had taught me how to do it when I was a kid ;)
