We are please to announce that the Center for Snake Conservation received tax exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Interal Revenue Code on December 8, 2011. This now allows contributions to the CSC to be tax deductible. The CSC is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under sectiosn 2055, 2106, and 2522 of the Internal Revenue Code.

The effective date of the exemption is January 5, 2011 so any contribution or gift received in 2011 is tax deductible.
