Calabasas Herping

Post by Biker Dave »

I'm going to be in Calabasas the weekend after Easter for some family stuff. Is there anywhere close by that is worth checking out for an hour or two on a Saturday morning or afternoon/evening?
You can pm me if you dont want to share publicly.

Thanks all in advance....

MattG....I was considering the SM Mtns but I'm not sure if I will have the time to hit them. I was looking at the Upper Las Virgenes Cyn Preserve, but I'm guessing that's a stay on the trail hands off everything sort of place.

Is there anyplace I should avoid (dumb rules, too many people, heavy LE presence, or some other reason)? That question may get me a better response.

Many people know me in this forum and know I'm not a collector or habitat destroyer. I'm just looking for a push in a direction not details.

Is roadcruising Mulholland an option?
