That is bitter/sweet, it is profound how much some of us are capable of loving our dogs, and those dogs are so worthy...so if those dog owners can honor their best friends, good for them. I don't have hounds, but I sure do love my Labs and I have encountered some houndsmen over the years, and they really do love their favorite hounds... I often wonder how folks with service dogs can say good-bye, it must be really tough.

i used to have yellow labs before i moved from georgia.
