Following were take in the vicinity of the Southwest Research station in the Chiricahua Mtns. Az.
Small Cerambycid at light.
Male ant and some termites
Myrmecocystus mendax getting ready for their mating flight
Cone nose bug
Pogonomyrmex barbatus working over an interloping centipede.
Skipper butterfly
Small tiger beetle at light.
Small cockroach at light.
Camponotus with brood under rock.
Unknown spider.
Pogonomyrmex apache alate female.
Spider by the pool at the SWRS (Southwest research station)
Robberfly
Large Buprestid on mesquite at night.
Cactus long horn beetle on Cholla.
Green Meloid
Male Loxoceles.
Female Loxoceles under same rock as male.

Wow, that was great, Gordon; special creatures in a special place.
As a lay person the Lycaenid butterfly larva was most amazing to me.
Was the"black light/scorpion" pic taken with a normal camera?

Thanks Bill. I was using a hand held BL and a Sony DSC 828 digital camera for the scorpion pic.
