A shot of 2 of my FRTs in captivity. Had been keeping them for quite some time.

These turtles makes pretty good pets and are always trying to get your attention. However, they require a big space to do well in captivity.

Gorgeous shot. A friend of mine has a pair, he's had them for 15 years or more. I should shoot them I guess, as you don't get to see these very often.

You should try shooting them. They look very graceful when they "fly" in the water. They used to be common here in Singapore before they got listed under CITES.justinm wrote:Gorgeous shot. Do you have any issues with aggression keeping them together?

There was lots of trial and error initially. After they sort things out among themselves for awhile, they are able to live in peace together now. I have 4 of them under my care and currently they are kept 2 by 2 with occassional "bickering". So far only this combination works for me. If I switch any one of them, hell will break loose.
The top one in the picture was very badly injured by the other 2 (of around the same size) previously and I was advised by the vet (not the usual one that I usually see from the same clinic) to put it to sleep. I have to admit it was my fault as I was too busy at work and neglected them. It took me months of effort and checks with my usual vet to slowly bring it back to health.
