Ctenosaura macrolopha

Post by cachoron »

I like these iguanas and there are some around. I've been learning how to spot them and once that figure it out, I've seen more places that they live. Usually a big guy (presume the male) and 2 or 3 smaller ones (diferent sizes)

Seems that before basking and getting some temp, they have a darker color and get some pale beige once they been at the sun

I have not been able to find a lot of info on the web about Ctenosaura macrolopha, if someone has, it will be very apreciate

I have not spot the little ones (green) but I guess is not time yet

Here are some pics

nice pics - I really grew to like the Ctenosaurs we saw on our visit. Keep an eye out for the little green ones - we saw them often!
