So to make sure the So-Cal-ers are appropriately represented and so I'm not accused of being biases (even though I totally am), here are some hits from my So-Cal trips back in April and May.
Blunt-nosed Leopard Lizard (Gambelia sila) from Tejon
Western Spadefoot (Spea hammondii) metamorphs from Tejon
Desert Iguana (Dipsosaurus dorsalis) Imperial County
Coachella Valley Fringe-Toed Lizard (Uma inornata) Riverside County
Although I'm feeling like the CVFTL and the DI shots are a bit dark and cool. I may go back and play around with the WB some.
Colorado Desert Fringe-toed Lizard (Uma notata)
Some invert shots:
Blue Dasher Male
Female
Western Pygmy Blue Butterfly - Smallest butterfly in North America
Thanks for looking!!
