I was in Tallahasee this week and managed to drive through ANF for a little during the day, but it was my first time and I didnt know where to go. Is this where you found this kingsnake? Any tips for ANF? O and yes very nice find

as neat as that king is, I'd be more stoked about the bear. I haven't seen a wild bear since I was 19 :( I traded the mammals of colorado for the herps of texas...one day I'll find a place with both!

I see you hit up the reptile show in Tampa yesterday. Nice buy, but you really should have waited until after she shed before posting pictures. :lol:

I have seen bears in Texas.

I know they occur in extreme east texas and the big bend region, but not in the panhandle as far as I know :( Maybe in my lifetime we'll at least get some migrating down from Colorado through Oklahoma into the northern panhandle. I can hope.

That is a nice looking king! Sometimes days with extreme weather conditions can be very rewarding and you proved that. Congratulations on a great find!

Wow, pretty aggessive trees in that area eh? Must've just sprang up and got 'em.
