This was my maiden post from 3 years ago, now faithfully recreated...and I have no idea who the guys are in the pic. It was just circulating on the internet at the time.

wow, what is the history behind that animal? Wild caught? Raised from hatching? 25 yrs old?

hey, fanny packs are great for concealed carry :) Only reason to wear one.

On a serious note, I don't think it is a captive animal. It looks dead. It also looks like a West Texas gopher/bull intergrade. Just a guess though.
It also doesn't look 9 feet. 8 maybe. Unless those guys are like 7 feet tall. :)

That snake is 9 feet if it's an inch and it doesn't look dead to me...but it was wild-caught on a Texas ranch.

Nice. I found a 6' 4" bullsnake in MN during the 2009 field season..... I thought that was big!

I trust your judgment. I thought they were dock workers! :)

still, the way the tail is dangling and the way its head is being held, and its low body weight, make me wonder what it went through before it got to these guys.
