Who Loves the Desert?

Post by TimCO »

Matt Cage and I and headed west into a snowstorm this year for a little Utah and Nevada. We ended up with cool temps and battled some extreme wind, but still had a blast.

Geez...very nice!

The last image of the flower bloom in the valley reminds me of a lichen bloom on my fence posts...the color that is. Great post! :thumb:

Ummm...I think those two gophers are making love not war. Was the top one "caressing" the bottom one with its head?

Definitely two males, the female was nearby under a rock.

As far as the speck, Lincoln Co NV. Look for it in Herp Review. DNA testing was required to determine mitchelli or stephensi.

Hi Tim,

Do you mind if I use your lutosus and mitchelli shots in a presentation? I'll give you full credit of course.

I Can't believe you told anybody about the UFOs. Yes, it was plural!! Nothing like I have ever seen before. I thought we were going to keep that to ourselves.

If I can ever get some time, I'm going to put up a post, I'm way behind.

Yeah, yeah. I quit listening when he started babbling about little green men and how it's bad to mix bacardi 151 and medical marijuana.

Great post! I love the desert. Love the collareds and the pits. I think its safe to talk about the UFO's as long as you leave out the story of the rectal probing! :D

Wow! You saw some amazing animals. The collared lizard was definitely my favorite. I'd freak out if I ever saw one in the wild. :!: And the horned lizard blended in with the rocks so well. The horned lizard is the one that can bleed out of it's eyes right? How trippy would that be to see?
