So i went on a 6 night herping trip with friends from 1StopBorneo: Shaveez and Chun. 3 nights at the lowland, followed by another 3 nights at the hill.
1st night: five Psammodynastes pictus 2nd night: three Ptyas fusca, two Psammodynastes pictus 3rd night: Ptyas fusca, Psammodynastes pictus, Ahaetulla prasina, Dryocalamus subannulatus, Tropidolaemus subannulatus 4th night: 2x Psammodynastes pulverulentus, Megophrys edwardinae 5th night: Trimeresurus sabahi, Sabahphrynus maculatus 6th night: Ahaetulla prasina
Many Painted Mock Vipers (Psammodynastes pictus). They come in a few different color forms so it was fun trying to find as many forms as possible.

Nice finds and great pics! That Edwardine’s Horned Frog is definitely a species I never saw during my time in Tawau, a beauty.

Thanks, Mark. Not much luck with snakes but at least I got a couple of nice frogs - M. edwardinae and Sabahphrynus maculatus. I'll need to go back there again!
