Moloch, Taipans and more

Post by Nickgale »

Haven't posted in a while, so thought id post some images from some recent reptile photos from the past 6 or so months.
In November last year I was lucky enough to head up into the Southern Northern Territory Via Coober Pedy, and found lots of new and exciting reptiles. Our final species count was 80 or so species in 10 days.
Here are some of my favourite shots.

We ended up finding two Inland Taipans within a 15 minute period. Very exciting!

A few weeks ago I drove up to central Queensland with a mate to find some geckos. We hit all of our targets, but my car got hit by a drunk driver and was written off in southern Queensland, roughly 16 hours from home. We ended up getting home in one piece after a lot of screwing around. Morale of the story, always be insured!
