Hey guys, it's been a while! I'm coming around to ask about your experiences with mole salamander breeding migrations. Reason being, I was on reddit the other day and someone from the BBC posed a question in r/biology (https://www.reddit.com/r/biology/commen ... bc_series/) about new and interesting things to film on an upcoming documentary series. I mentioned how crazy these migrations and breeding ponds can get at peak times around the east coast. They wanted to know where some of the larger populations and which species could be best for viewing (sites being kept confidential, of course). I've only got experience with spotted salamanders and will send the BBC guy some contacts to look into that, but wanted to pose the question here, along with any other interesting herp behaviors you all might suggest! Seems like a cool opportunity to promote herps and their lives.
