Hey everybody! How's it going? My name is Patrick Crockett. I'm originally from Kansas and just recently relocated to Brevard county Florida for work. I'm loving the weather and all the beautiful sites out here so far, but I'm lacking a knowledge of the area and that's where I could use some help. I was wondering if there was any other herpers in the area who would be willing to go do some flipping or night cruising with me. I can totally drive, and I have all the necessary equipment to safely handle and photograph anything we find. Hope to hear from someone. Take her easy.
Unfortunately I'm not in the area, but you've got some great herping sites out there.
Yes, so I've heard. Unfortunately, I don't know where to go that's not illegal and I'm not familiar with this area at all so I've yet to find anything good.
Any wildlife management areas are protected, but pretty friendly to people just taking pictures of snakes, usually. And they're open after dark for road cruising.
Yeah, WMAs are your friend. Lightly trafficked and open after dark.
