Day two of a two day Singapore trip. Managed a couple lifers with the help of a friend. Good times!

Thanks for the support guys. Yeah, I know, shoes. What do you guys wear in the field? Need to withstand mud, etc. Don't want them ruined on day one.

Lou, I would think for your wet areas of using like rubber "deck" boots. Their easy to slip on over bare feet and take off and throw in the trunk of the car on the way home. Where you walk reminds me a little of a fishing boat deck covered with fish blood, squashed baitfish, and squirming tuna and Dorado.

In dryer areas I would look at lace up or zip up hikers. But I would try several pairs and heights to find what I like best. Locally night driving, like you I just wear casual athletics shoes and keep the crotes at a distance on a hook or tongs.

Appreciate the info. The problem is, when I travel to places like Singapore, I'm not really packing much. It's part of my flight. LAX - Tokyo - Singapore - Tokyo - LAX. So I have limited space for boots.

Love the spotted keelback, what a beauty!. We found two on the same night a couple of years ago and never seen any since. Very weird.
Anyway nice find, love your videos, Lou! Cheers
