Hello everybody! If you don't already know me my name is Huck and I am a young herper from Los Angeles. I have posted a few other topics with pictures that you guys can check out if you are interested. Anyway, I was wondering something about the infamous harbor lake water snakes: can they be found in october? With my previous interactions with aquatic snakes, I have noticed that they tend to be active throughout the summer and fall heat. I was wondering if I searched well I could probably find basking invasive florida watersnakes.
Thanks,
Huck

Hey Huck!
There was a strong effort to eradicate all the invasives/restore the lake a couple years ago. How successful they were in doing so, I do not know. I have not heard any reports of people finding them in the past three to five years. Eradication is always a difficult task, however they tried pretty hard so I'm really not sure weather or not they're there.
