Hey, and I gotta say this... as much as Chad pisses me off up to no end. He IS a little human encyclopedia to field herping. And as much as a lot of that scientific shit bores the hell out of me ( ) he has an extensive knowledge of field herping.
Ok, I'm done The porter now enters hibernation...

Dude, the kings in your area are brown, not black...
Chad, tell em the story about how you passed thids desert phase king up at Azan Borrego, on your side of the road, off the road and up in the dirt, and who spotted it while riding shotgun
I had to wake myself up outta friggin hibernation for this...?
F L U o R E s C E N T K I n G ~ I may not have a shot in hell's chance at ever getting a porter-perfect woman to even talk to me in the field herping community.... but, who gives a bug. I feel like dancin'
Ok, I can hardly bear it...sleepy times

My friend says his juvenile Pink Pearl (lavender X Palomar ghost double homozygous) Cal kings have a lot of that light green in them. I think its visible outside, but may not show up inside. And in most specimens it probably goes away with age. If you've found a population with older adults having that green, that would be pretty cool to see.
...and so, the great circle of drag goes on...life drags on...and the sun is the moon...a bowl of yellow soup...and the stars are hip in the way out sky...can you dig it?

Ohhh yeah.... I can dig it, man... it's all in the drag baby... all in the drag...
Coolest thing about the drag shot still, to me, is Fast Eddie going with follow through and Minnesota with the drawback. Says something about their character's character.
As much as I'd like to keep the ball rolling... this bear's heading to the cave Oooooo yeah, baby... sleepy time, time

I found three like this one in that area. I think one of them is pictured in Hubb's book. I need to find my old Canon Powershot (60, I think?) and check out the cards. I have an old Fuji that is loaded with a bunch of stuff as well. Anyway, some cool looking kings in a fairly small area.
