For the last 3 years I've been looking for Pelobates vespertinus, but without any success. This spring I've found it in my garden :) I've digged it out when preparing flower beds.

Seems like a nice, big female!

(In case you may not be aware and depending on where you're at, this may in fact be Pelobates vespertinus.)

You are right, it is Pelobates vespertinus :) I've updated my post
