Hello everyone!

I used to post under the southeast chapter all the time as "Jordan S." I joined several years ago and made a few posts but never consistently. I kind of fell off the forum for a long time but now things have changed and I'm making it a resolution to put up some good posts from some trips. So, here is some catching up, I joined the United States Air Force in March 2016 and left my apartment in Gainesville, Florida to Lackland AFB in San Antonio for basic training. I then had my technical training at Randolph AFB in San Antonio then upon graduating there, I've been on a long TDY assignment here at Holloman AFB in southern New Mexico where I will be leaving here the beginning of March and move to my new permanent base in Las Vegas, Nevada! I got engaged last November and getting married next year so very much looking forward to that. Got an amazing woman that supports my hobby.
Anyway, so now that I got everyone caught up on where I am at and how life has been going, I've got a lot of amazing finds from this past 2016 to share with everyone. Obviously not everything, but here are some highlights from New Mexico, Arizona and Texas. I am really looking forward to moving to Nevada and herping out there, California and more of Arizona.

Good to see you back again, Jordan.

The forum is beginning to have some good old U.S. herping trip meat again with pics and script (our foreign friends have been holding it up very well).

We'll look forward to more.

Cool to see the salamander. I used to live out there and never looked for it. I used to go up to cloudcroft several times a year to go birding as well.

Damn, that Blacktail won't have to eat for a while! Bunny? Squirrel?

Jordan,
Very nice overview, and I like the Sac Mtn photo! That one is on my list still to see, but I honestly have made Zero effort to go looking.

Depending on when you leave in March, and the weather, you may still have a shot at a few last species here. Shoot me a text if you end up coming this way.
