It's the end of the year again, and what a year it's been. I relocated to Florida to work as part of a research team working in south Florida. This will be photo heavy, and mostly cover Florida.

Great finds and excellent photography! Your shots with the Milky Way in the background are truly exceptional. I've heard someone describe before how they do it, but I don't recall.
How did you find that Mudsnake? Looks like you were out in some wetlands. Must have taken a lot of patience to get it to stay on the log like that. I've never met a photogenic Mudsnake.

WoW, that was amazing—discoveries, as well as the pictures.
Re: 2016 Year in Review
Looks like a fun year, Nick. Some really great photos in here, especially the shots under the stars at night.
Re: 2016 Year in Review
Nucking futs, great diversity and shots. What were doing down south, working on crocs?
Thanks for sharing.
Best,
Nick

Should have ended the post with *mike drop*
One of the best posts ever seen on FHF. You are an artist and master photographer, and your subjects are species that top the bucket lists of virtually every viewer of this forum. But to see all that in one year? Incredible!
I know several of those are still on my bucket list.
Every photo is beautiful and would look good hanging on a wall as a large print.
Now that you're in FL I hope we'll see more of your work on a regular basis.
