Possible Tejon Ranch Trip November 20

Post by todd battey »

I am planning a possible off-season trip to the high country of Tejon Ranch on Sunday, November 20. It is off-season relative to herps and wildflowers, but it's always a beautiful area to visit. The main purpose is to maintain some of our artificial cover arrays up on Blue Ridge to prepare for prime-time visits next spring. I need a few people to help carrying carpet to a few of the sites. Along the way, we're likely to see some wildlife - maybe pronghorns and some interesting birds. We are not likely to see many herps - maybe a couple lizard species.

This will be a small group outing heading up from the Antelope Valley side of Tejon Ranch (300th Street East gate located north of Hwy 138 and a few miles east of Hwy 5). I need to submit names of attendees fairly soon for the TR permit. If you are interested, please PM me with your contact information (name, email, cell phone), and I will be in touch.

Thanks,

Todd
