Salamandra salamandra, in Trentino region, North Italy. Shot in a humid and shady canyon. I'm sorry I know the pic is out of focus a little bit
Podarcis muralis brugemanni near Riva del Garda town, Trentino region, northern Italy.
Wall lizards living in less anthropized areas, like in the woods, are much smaller than those who lives inside cities.
In cities they have less predators and they can grow bigger, in the woods and in more natural areas they are hunted by whip snakes (Hierophis carbonarius), smooth snakes (Coronella austriaca) and other animals.
