A Spiny Terrapin, Wallaces Flying frogs, and a few snakes.

Post by LouB747 »

Hi guys, I just got back from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I managed to find a few snakes right across the street from the airport hotel, which was cool. Then Kurt Orion took me out at night and we found:

1 Spiny Terrapin
9 Wallace's Flying Frogs
1 Mahogany Frog
1 Blue Bronzeback

and a few other common frogs.

Not bad for a 24 hr trip.

Lou

Thanks. It's a tough crowd on this forum. It seems you need to find a 2 headed snake to get any comments.

Not at all - I for one do most of my FHF browsing while at work and vids just dont play smoothly enough so from my perspective a couple of pics would have been nice, and I'm jealous of your Wallace's.

Besides, whats so great about comments!?

I'll chime in to say I always check your posts, Lou. It's definitely cool to have movies on this forum as well as pics, but it does take a little more time to appreciate than pics, as Kris said. I guess that's where the general quick-quick-quick nature of the online world comes into play. In short, I'm sure there's plenty of people enjoying your contributions; please keep it up!

As a teaser, here's one of the froggies that maybe is one of the very same as yours ;-).
Gotta love such an iconic species!!!

Thanks for the support guys.

I guess I'm a little bummed that someone leaked a "bumpy landing" video of me and got 1 million views in a day and yet I struggle to get a few hundred views in a month.

In the end, I make these videos to share the experience. So if it makes a few people happy, that's good enough.

Great pic. I never even knew about those frogs before this trip. Such an awesome experience. I'll try and take some pics and include them next time.
