Ca herper, Singapore lifers

Post by LouB747 »

Thought I'd share this with my CA friends who don't look at the main forum that often.

Last week I found a Mangrove Cat Snake and Big-Eyed Whip Snake, both lifers. I shot the video with a GoPro Hero 4 Black, so it's in 4K. That said, I haven't actually watched it in 4K yet!

Here's a frame grab from the video

And the video.

Thanks for watching,

Lou

I thought Cal King on Whitewater when I saw it. It looked black and white at first. Reality set in and I thought it was a krait, a super rare find for Singapore. Once I walked in I immediately recognized it as it glowed yellow and black.

Malaysia next month for the first time. Hoping to see a few more lifers!

Thanks guys. It's funny that a leaked video of me landing on a bumpy day got over 1,000,000 views in a day yet I barely get 100 views on my snake videos. Such is the world we live in.

They were just hoping to see blood and fire

Your comment made me thing of this... Out of all my videos dedicated to native reptiles and amphibians the one with the most hits is, "The Croaking Bullfrog" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfR1OYyQv2Q  Rubber Boas, rattlers, and a YBR hit the 1 or 2k mark, but Jeremiah got over 19k
