Lots of beautiful shots on this post already. Thanks for sharing everyone. Here's one of the better ones I was lucky enough to get this year.

Great post - some unbelievable shots here but for me Ryan's Cyclorana shot stands out for technical expertise and Kevin's Azemiops for sheer coolness of the species.
I did close to bugger all herping in 2015 (not out of choice) so I only have a small selection to choose from. The below isnt my personal favourite but it seemed to be the most well received....

This is my most favorite shot in 2015. A Big-headed Turtle hatchling of Hong Kong.

A great post, with many very, very nice photos!
This is perhaps not my best shot of 2015, but my personal favourite - because of the species!

I'm new to herping and herp photography. But this was one of the first dozen or so shots I took with my new setup earlier this year. It's not spectacular but I'm proud of it.

My camera got stolen on December 24th last year. I replaced it with a very cheap camera that I learned to hate, which made me put less and less effort into photos. So the whole year was pretty much a photography wash for me. I saw at least a dozen things that were incredible to me...but the photos just don't match the reality at all. I never spent much time taking good shots, but this year was really bad.
Good news is...my first "nice" camera is actually in the news as we speak. Thank God for Panasonic's FZ200 falling all the way down to $250! I might actually even start trying on photos now.
If I have to pick one photo from the year, I guess it was this speck. Put my face about 18" from his face while I peaked under the boulder...saw a rattler body...then slowly backed away.
Not a fabulous photo (snapped the one shot as-it-is then ran to catch the rest of the leaving group), but I like what it shows.

I saw so many animals and made decent headway on lifers, but didn't end up taking nearly enough photos to justify all I'd seen.
Left it to this girl to pose in a nice spot. Although...I can't tell if it's just my monitor or what, but this photo now looks blown out to me, or Flickr has screwed up their image compression for smaller resolutions.

This is like torture! Excellent shots everyone
I don't have a single best shot, but I'll post this cute short-horned lizard trying to kill me. After a long hike and finding almost nothing we finally walked upon him on the trail.
