Hello everyone. It's been a while since I've connected, but it is great to come back on here and see old friends.
Today I would like to share with you our recent review of the genus Ophryacus, including the description of a new species and the revalidation of a third species formerly relegated to synonymy.
You can find the publication here: http://www.herp.mx/pubs/2015-Grunwald-e ... ryacus.pdf
Check it out and let me know what you think. A video is also available on Facebook, as are additional photos. To view just add the user Herp Mx to your facebook friends and check out the time-line. Please feel free to share if you find this interesting.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!
Cheers,

Those snake genera are most interesting! I didn't even know they existed. Beautiful animals, and the paper is impressive also - thanks for sharing that . I must say, I'd think field studies in some of those areas would be very dangerous these days...

Very cool. Who would have thought Mexico had any interesting pit vipers?
