Hello from the Pacific Northwest
Wow, Marisa! I don't know where to begin, so I'll just plunge:
1. How cool that your avatar states: My Car (I believe you)
2. You really get around! I thought that I've seen some places. I've lived in 8 USA states, traveled thru 22, have been to CN & MX briefly. However, the scope of your photos, and the breadth of terrain & wildlife they exhibited, are some of the best photos I"ve EVER seen. Even for a world-class forum like this one, your photos shine.
3. I hope that your calendar sells well. If I get employed soon, I may buy one.
4. Among my favorite photos is the Conjuncta Cal King from mid Baja (same origin of my Rosy Boa's ancestors). At first, I thought that the snake was a Desert Kingsnake, but then saw the photo caption and recognized the subspecies.
5. Also very cool are the old car or building photos with the wild west backdrop. I have some from Fossil, OR that are very similar to yours.
You are an inspiration, and I enjoyed this post tremendously. Shine on!
Don in Vancouver, WA
1.0 Lampropeltis getula splendida
1.0 Terrapene carolina carolina
1.0 Terrapene carolina triangus
0.1 Lichurana trivirgata trivirgata
0.1 Boa dumerli (reclassified in 2015 from Acrantophis dumerili)

Re: 2016 Calendar and some pretty photos from this year
To my eye that is the best collection of herp images I've ever seen. Your technique for framing the snakes in such natural poses takes it to a new level!!! That and such awesome finds and adventures!!!
Re: 2016 Calendar and some pretty photos from this year
Awesome stuff! The matamata was quite a gem.
