Please Be Prudent with Ticks

Post by MCHerper » April 16th, 2015, 6:11 am

There have been several articles this week on different sites about the spread of Powassan virus into the Northeast, which sounds quite scary based on the articles. The major vector appears to be the white-footed mouse, the same mouse that is the major vector of Lyme, and the disease is carried by the black-legged tick. Please be prudent with these little buggers.

Always a good reminder!! Myself and many others on the forum already have Lyme. No need to add to the fire!
