Quick spring update from central Texas!

Post by DracoRJC »

Just a little taste of springtime in Austin - and people say it's a lame place to herp...

Enjoy!

Congratulations...I know the TX alligator lizard was somewhat of a white whale. I still haven't found one of my own.

Cool start to the year. I'm like Chris McM, still haven't found a live TX Alligator Lizard in TX. Found a few south of the border, but they elude me at home. (Just got access to some land where they are common though, so I should get that one checked off the list soon!).

Those Eastern Blackneck Garters can be some of the prettiest snakes in the US, IMHO. Yours is an average one, some are much prettier.
