Garter ID

Found this back in october of 2014 in Shasta County, CA
I believe its Thamnophis Elegans Elegans but an ID from somebody who knows their garters would be greatly appreciated as i do not.Image

Thanks. origionally I was stuck between oregon, mountain, and valley garter lol.

It has the eyes of an aquatic, so you can rule out elegans and sirtalis.

I had a confusing time with Thamnophis in your area, especially going North up to Mt. Shasta/Castella area. I think an area of intergradation adds to the mix.
