My 2015 season has started off a little slower than I was hoping, but I've still managed a few interesting finds.
California Newts
Vocalizing Baja California Treefrog
I guess his vocalizations worked...
California Treefrog
Big San Diego Gopher Snake that was found basking underneath some vines. I didn't spend much time photographing this one because it chewed up my finger pretty good and I quickly lost patience for it.
Basking ruber
Ruber courtship
Another big male ruber basking near his lady friend
I recently made a trip down to one of my favorite San Diego mountain ranges to visit a speck that I've been observing for almost 1 year now, except this time he had a visitor... a big helleri has decided to make its home in the same crevice.
Here's a picture of the rock outcrop that contains the crevice

Great shots. Love the crevice helleri and speck one!
Re: 2015 so far...
Thanks Zach. Makes me wonder what else could be residing in the depths of that crevice.

While common snakes for some, I love Rubers. The area your in looks awesome.
