My 2015 season has started off a little slower than I was hoping, but I've still managed a few interesting finds.

Big San Diego Gopher Snake that was found basking underneath some vines. I didn't spend much time photographing this one because it chewed up my finger pretty good and I quickly lost patience for it.

I recently made a trip down to one of my favorite San Diego mountain ranges to visit a speck that I've been observing for almost 1 year now, except this time he had a visitor... a big helleri has decided to make its home in the same crevice.

While common snakes for some, I love Rubers. The area your in looks awesome.
