What do you mean Lou?? Joking again?

I haven't heard anything about a Catalina zonata. Yesterday was probably a good day to find one though.

From what I have seen, let's just say that everything looked a bit too perfect. ..

Yeah. I saw the video as well. It did look a little suspect. If the guy could have gotten the snake to stretch out (in situ style) like that, it could have been faked.. But those definatley looked like catalina island foxes.. So I dont know.. The person in question, appears to have removed the video as well.. which looks suspect.. The alleged zonata looked like a San Gabriel parv to me.. Im calling hoax.

I messaged the person who put up the video. He has it off line for a short while, to have it authenticated by some reputable members of the herp comunity.. But he swears what he filmed was a real in situation encounter. He says the video will be back for veiwing, eventually.

I watched it. 50/50 Hard to say what one would look like, so can't really compare one way or the other. The "friend" of said videographer may be the "doubt" cast, if any. There isn't any reason for them not to be there. Z's do occupy some unusual and different habitat than the typical norm. Gas up the plane, Lou! :D
