Re: REPOST: Water Wall Krait
Looks alot like our California Kingsnakes... especially the desert kings. Except for the heads/face... ours have white scattered about.
You should get yourself a kingsnake over there and freak some people out...

Re: REPOST: Water Wall Krait
Why get a kingsnake when I can have this?
Re: REPOST: Water Wall Krait
Dear Mr. Breuer,
Welcome to the forum. I like your enthusiasm! It's nice to see a skilled photographer like yourself showing an interest in snakes. Perhaps if you keep it up you might one day keep a pet snake or be asked for advice about these fascinating animals.
Best regards,
Warren

Dear Mr. Laurde,
thank you for your warm welcome - I sincerely hope to live up to the expectations. As to pet snakes, would you recommend a B. multicinctus for a beginner with small children in the house and a habit of not properly closing slide doors? It is certainly a pretty snake, visually the closest to those gorgeous California Kingsnakes which unfortunately I'm not able to purchase over here....
Thanks again,
HBT

Re: REPOST: Water Wall Krait
I really enjoy your posts Hans. The krait is really cool - I never realized that the dorsal scales were so, well, strange! Almost look like they could be belly scutes on certain other snakes, as seen in the second pic.
