guessing a coral, but any ideas? awesome shot my friend got, i've never seen a snake on one of these camera traps before.
snake is in the bottom right of the frame, slithering into the grass.

For those of you who are initially confused (like I was) look at the bottom right corner of the images. Its tough to say from this kind of image but yeah im guessing coral or one of the mimics. Its always cool when snakes show up in camera trap images, there are some photos floating around on the net with a deer that triggered a camtrap and theres a big timber in the shot as well. My friend also told me about cam trapping a retic in Malaysia.

Based on the ring pattern, it should be a Micrurus nigrocinctus

Impossible to tell really, having seen several corales in the region I can tell you the banding is Highly variable for C.A. Corales but it could be one of the nigrocinctus or alleni crowd. It's a big one though, those Ocelots are not exactly small cats. There are multifascistus as well which can be bicolored...neat pic I wonder what happened when the cat found it....
