I did some herping for several hours near Wanapum Dam in Grant County, WA on Saturday. Nothing too cool to report. But the Mariposa Lillies were in full bloom in many places.
Paruroctonus boreus - 3
Sagebrush Lizard - TMTC
Side-blotched Lizard - TMTC
Nightsnake - 1
Northern Scorpion - Paruroctonus boreus
Nightsnake
Nightsnake was found beneath this plywood
Mariposa Lillies
The lillies did not seem to match any of the species in my field guide.

Nice flip on the nightsnake. I think I have flipped that piece before too.
Yep, that scorpion ranges up into Canada land. Washington has two species of scropion.

Re: Wanapum
Weaver had been missing in action from Fieldherpforum for quite awhile.
Maybe he is just in the bathroom blowing it up.
