Adult Male Florida Mud Turtle (Kinosternon steindachneri)

Post by Daniel D Dye »

Male Florida Mud Turtle (Kinosternon steindachneri) found by my son, Mike. I've found several hatchlings in the same area, but never an adult.
Kinosternon steindachneri is no longer Kinosternon subrubrum steindachneri.

They're cute. I like their faces with the big eyes.
