Hey guys, I haven't posted on here since December, and I've done some herping since then, so without further adieu I'll show off what I've found.
Early January I was in Texas for winter break, and a friend and I decided to go down to South Texas to look for some herps.
First snake of the year was this Emory Ratsnake Pantherophis emoryii. In this part of Texas these snakes used to be meahllmorum or the Thornscrub Ratsnake, but not anymore.

After that I came back to Tennessee for school and found some stuff.

And just for good measure, here's some Canada Geese from the pond beside my dorm.

Lastly, I got some underwater video of Spotted Slamanders breeding in a wetland.

I like your ratsnake in-situ shot.
Re: Spotted Salamanders and all the stuff from this year so
That underwater video is rad! Did you use a go-pro or something? Maybe I'll convince someone to do that here, this year. I think our spotteds are going to move next week, hopefully. Awesome!
Re: Spotted Salamanders and all the stuff from this year so
Thanks! The rat snake isn't in-situ, we found it under some sheet metal.
And yes, I used a go pro for the video.
Thanks for the replies.

The video was seriously awesome. Thanks for sharing and get some shots of the Green Salamanders.
