Re: Cat Gecko
Wonderful shots, Kurt! That is a beautiful species and another that I would love to see someday. Was it up in a shrub/tree or on the ground? I think that they should live out at Taman Negara but so far, I have not had any luck there.

David

Re: Cat Gecko
Beautiful animal, beautiful photos, as always, Kurt. I was just as enchanted with this species when I found my first one (roadcruised it, of all things!) Of course, your photos put mine to bitter shame, but my individual had a nice white splotch on the back Can't ever get enough of these little guys! Incidentally, Indraneil Das's team at the Universiti Malaysia Sarawak here in Kuching thinks there's a second, undescribed species here in Borneo.

Re: Cat Gecko
Thanks, guys!
Hans - how on earth did you spot a tiny gecko while road cruising?
LJ - they feed on small insects.

Re: Cat Gecko
Not sure about the one you found, but this one was no more than 5 or 6 inches long.Hans Breuer (twoton) wrote:That's not a tiny gecko!
