Howdy,
An old college friend who has absolutely nothing to do with herping (she is a scholar of Chinese History) and who teaches at Middlebury in Vermont, has discovered that her work phone number is on an old amphibians of VT posterhttp://www.vtfishandwildlife.com/vtcrit ... Poster.pdf, the result being that she keeps getting calls about rare amphibian sightings.
She has reached out to the contact person for VT Fish and Wildlife, but I thought I'd post it here, first, because I thought it's funny that a friend of mine would be randomly getting herp calls, and second, because maybe some VT herpers would know something about this.
Take care, stay warm, and (someday) happy herping,
Billy

That's pretty funny! I'm not sure who is in charge of updating the state website, and even if they did, there are poster versions of that all over. I have that poster in my office. Some of those posters are still available for sale in a few spots I know. My advice is that your friend embrace the phone calls and encourage anyone wishing to report their sighting to call the Vermont Herp Atlas at 802-352-4734. They've got a nice website, too: http://community.middlebury.edu/~herpatlas/

Well, I have some questions about VT amphibians, so I guess I'll call her...thanks for the tip...so her number is 802-443-5648...thanks again. The last time I tried to get this information I called 867-5309, but it was someone named Jenny.
