Turtle ID

Post by SnakeDude »

I just found this guy all shriveled up by the side of a lake i was herping this morning. I've never found a turtle there, so this was an unexpected find. I'm not a turtle guy, so if anyone could tell me what it is, that'd be awshum. I thinkkkk it's a painted turtle but im not too sure.

Thanks. I thought it might've been that, but I googled red-eared slider range maps and it said they didn't come out this far west.

I wish all the red-eared sliders I found looked like that!

Ha, I'd rather have them than bullfrogs... Although not sure which one has worse an impact on the environment.
