Howdy everyone, after a few months of lurking in the underbrush I have decided to surface with my first post. I've been a somewhat avid field herper since high school, photographing and recording general observations of each species of herp found since about 15 years of age. I recently graduated from veterinary medical school and, having finally completed that academic marathon, found a spot of free time with which to finally organize my notes and simply recharge my passion for the hobby. Included below are a few random photos of random species from random parts of the world over the past few years that happened to turn out half-way decent. Enjoy!
Anaxyrus americanus, Story co, IA
Pantherophis vulpina, Cook co, IL
Anaxyrus fowleri, Vermilion co, IL
Coleolyx variegatus, Maricopa co, AZ
Calotes versicolor, Phnom Pehn, Cambodia

Austrelaps suberbus, TAZ, Australia
Crinia signifera, TAS, Australia
Ctenophorus pictus, VIC, Australia
Lerista bougainvilli, VIC, Australia
Litoria ewingii, TAS, Australia
Hypsiglena torquata, Maricopa co, AZ
Notechis scutatus, VIC, Australia
Niveoscincus ocellatus, TAS, Australia

Nice assortment, it's very eclectic. Keep the pics coming.

That is quite a varied assortment! Lots of nice close-ups. Though it's a common species, I think my favorite photo is the very first one, of Anaxyrus americanus. That toad looks poised for action.
