Help identifying Wyoming lizard

Post by Roki »

I think it is a red-lipped plateau lizard, but am in a debate about it with a coworker.

What do you guys think?

Roki, I'm going w/ Northern Plateau Lizard, because of the lack (very faded) of the dorsal zigzaging pattern that Red-lips usually have. What County did you find it in? That may help narrow a few things down.

Looks like a Sagebrush Lizard to me.

Sceloporus graciosus, without doubt. Dark(ish) spot on the shoulder and black striping on the rear of the hind leg. If not for those two features, I'd agree with Dell - that's the next closest. It is not a Sceloporus tristicus [undulatus] erythrocheilus, though. Where (generally) was it found?

*Edit: It's a gravid female, by the way.
