I'm somewhat partial to Stereochilus, so you won me over with that. Fantastic finds.

Holy cow, your photos are amazing! Just exquisite. No way to pick a favorite, although the pine snake is a strong contender. I love the seepage sally and the crayfish snake, as well. It's all just very beautiful. Thanks for sharing this.

Double dang, Ian! The pic of the Pine in front of the burnt stump is incredibly powerful! Some of the Corns are pretty darn yummy too.
Every single photo is super, super nice.

Phew, as everyone else has kind of said: too many sweet finds to mention - being a Spotted Turtle lover, I have to compliment the orange on the head of yours there. And that many lined is pretty freaking sweet.

They're intriguing animals. We were able to turn up quite a few adults that day. I'll have to go back with an aquarium to get some better, naturalistic photos.JakeScott wrote:I'm somewhat partial to Stereochilus, so you won me over with that. Fantastic finds.

Thanks a lot, Tamara. The pine snake would probably be my choice if I had to pick a favorite.Tamara D. McConnell wrote:Holy cow, your photos are amazing! Just exquisite. Thanks. The first double rat picture, the two under the car hood, were in situ, but the two by the tree were posed.Rich in Reptiles wrote:One epic critter after another!! In the first pic of the two ratsnakes, were they both in situ? Awesome post!

Thanks, Josh. That was a pretty turtle, even with the stained, dingy shell.Josh Holbrook wrote:Phew, as everyone else has kind of said: too many sweet finds to mention - being a Spotted Turtle lover, I have to compliment the orange on the head of yours there. Ian,
As a few people have already stated that Pine Snake Shot was stellar. In fact I loved all of those shots of snakes crossing roads. Keep em coming! Thanks
