Just to say that San Diego/Riverside doesn't have all the morphs...
Found north of Los Angeles...

Re: Kingsnake
Amazing find, how long is it? It looks like many selectively bred captives and unlike any wild types I have seen. One can only wonder...it will be interesting to see what else turns up in your area.

Its in it's second or third year. There are aberrant kings around but this one is the coolest Ive found so far...
Re: Kingsnake

She's had two double doubles (west coast burgers)....
Re: Kingsnake
That thing is bad ass John. Coolest non-coastal morph IMO. Gonna be interesting to see what it produces if you eventually breed it.

Re: Kingsnake
Very cool. Do you have pics of any other aberrant kings from that area?
I have seen about 3 wild kings with similar aberrancies, although they were not as extreme examples as yours.

I don't know which looks better...that King, or that In-and-Out burger....
Re: Kingsnake
I always get the Animal Style Chili Double Double. Cut up chilli peppers in it!

The two Cal Kings that I have found in the Santa Clarita area were pretty generic, one black and white, the other pale yellow. Have you heard of any zonatas found in that area? Wonder what they would look like considering that this is range that potentially is a junction of three subspecies.

Thanks Ross. 2 of the ones pictured on your site are the ones I was talking about but I didn't know they were already on your site. The other one I know of is from the same area but not pictured.

Re: Kingsnake
Yeah, I might have seen that one if it was posted here before or maybe on Brads website. I remember Hubbs saying he thought they were released captive breds or the result of such releases. I'm not sure what he thinks now. I thought the same way too, but now that I see they all fallow the same type of aberrant pattern, it seems more natural. If one was found with some striping, that wouldn't look right.Aaron wrote:Thanks Ross. 2 of the ones pictured on your site are the ones I was talking about but I didn't know they were already on your site.
