Is it just me, or would that have made a great album cover in the 70's?

As a matter of fact...

Ya know... I spent hours making that ruler into a yardstick and I fooled no one. I give up... I should have made it a more realistic size.

I had a striped CA King as a pet back in the 70's in San Diego. It escaped in the house and was not rediscovered until 6 months later when it crawled across my mothers legs while she was sitting on the toliet. I promptly recaptured and fed and released, fortunately, we lived in a semi-rural area then and had mice in the house.

What's odd is the amount of yellow on the snout for a king this dark.

Yeah that is kind of odd. Definitely cool though. I don't believe I've seen one quite like that before.
