Staged or not, that Cottonmouth was a beast, and it took out that Diamondback with incredible proficiency!

Honestly, until reading the first two replies to this thread, it had never even dawned on me that some of this wildlife footage could be staged or manipulated. How incredibly unethical. Also incredibly unfair for the EDB. These things happen in life, but I don't think ending that life should be our choice to make in that situation.

Chris Palmer did a nice, short book called Shooting in the Wild (can be had for a $1 or so on Amazon) that covers many of the "tricks of the trade" in wildlife filming and ethical issues surrounding them.

I came across a Cottonmouth in the process of eating a Black Racer a couple of years ago.
