Re: Couple of Frog IDs please.
I would say that all three are clamitans.
Re: Couple of Frog IDs please.
I say Duck Duck Goose.
I agree with Mr. Scobel. Three clamitans. The bars on the legs of your first two are perpendicular to the leg. Mink's spots run parallel with the leg.
You could have just given them a sniff. Too bad we don't have smell-o-photo....

Re: Couple of Frog IDs please.
The first two frogs have the characteristic spots on the back which to me look like somewhat took watercolor paint and dripped it onto a puddle, which I have seen on many Mink Frogs, but really not on Green Frogs. The first frog barely has leg barring, more spots. Mink frogs don't so much have leg stripes as just random spots in a barred, striped or blotched pattern. Also the dorsal-lateral fold on the first frog is pretty weak. To me I see 1: Mink, 2: I can go either way, but would skew towards MInk, 3: Green. But, I don't have tons of experience with Minks, but where I did see them I saw lots. Also, like Green and Bullfrogs there is lots of habitat overlap between Minks and Greens.
A location in Ontario would help too.

Thanks for the help here. I realise it's difficult from a couple of hasty photos.
The first two shots were taken at Wye Marsh National Wildlife area near Midland. A wetland area on the south shore of Georgian Bay. The third shot was taken at Holland's Landing near Newmarket, approx 30kms north of Toronto.
Rags.

A closer view of the first frog's foot might help too. From this view it looks more like the sparser webbing of a Green.

Re: Couple of Frog IDs please.
I know this is a fairly old post but I thought I would post my opinions for the ID's of these frogs.
In my opinion all three are Green frogs.
My Source; I live in Ontario myself and go to Fleming College where I have had to studies the ID's of Amphibians and Reptiles this past week.
Just my view on the ID's though! Hope it helps,
Taylor
