Hey guys,
im going back to nj for break in a few days and since i usually dont go herping in the winter but i found barely anything this year so i want to go looking for sals. what kind of species besides red backs can be found in nj during the winter?

You may find a few Spotty's on some roads in the north and south. Just need to know where to look.

stream salamanders, two-lined, dusky, reds, can be found year round especially close to springs. Kyle has posted about it http://www.fieldherpforum.com/forum/vie ... f=7&t=3923
